Applications Engineering & Turnkey Manufacturing Solutions
Selecting a CNC machine based only on specifications can result in buying too much machine — or selecting equipment that does not perform well for the actual manufacturing process.
Hillary Machinery works with customers to evaluate:
- Part geometry and dimensions
- Part weight
- Material
- Tolerance requirements
- Surface-finish requirements
- Production volume
- Cycle-time objectives
- Tooling
- Workholding
- CNC programming
- Automation opportunities
The objective is to match the manufacturing solution to the parts and production requirements rather than simply matching a customer to a machine model.
Technical Service & Machine Tool Support
Machine support after installation is an important part of any manufacturing equipment investment.
Hillary Machinery provides CNC machine repair, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, installation, technical support and machine-tool service for manufacturers across our territory.
Our technical capabilities include support for CNC controls, electrical systems, mechanical systems, servo systems, spindles, hydraulics, pneumatics, ballscrews, tool changers and other machine systems.

Our History
1980s: Building the Foundation
Patrick Hillary Jr. and David Weber founded Hillary Machinery in 1984.
The company developed its business in the Southwest through fabricating equipment including Cincinnati Incorporated press brakes, shears and lasers; Timesavers belt sanders; and Piranha ironworkers.
1990s: Expanding into CNC Machinery
As demand for CNC manufacturing equipment grew, Hillary Machinery expanded its work with machine-tool brands including Swedturn, Tree and Ikegai.
In the early 1990s, the company received the Cincinnati Milacron distributorship for Texas. The decade also brought Quickmill equipment and further development of service, support, Siemens retrofit and remanufacturing capabilities for customers including energy and aerospace manufacturers.
2000s: Greater Focus on CNC Machining
In 2001, Hillary Machinery shifted its primary focus toward machining equipment, representing companies including Fadal, Giddings & Lewis and Milltronics.
During the decade, the company added Hyundai WIA CNC products and expanded its Texas presence with an additional office in Houston.
2010s: Expanding into Oklahoma
During the 2010s, Doug Weber and Troy Owen partnered with Jeff Messenger to establish Hillary Machinery's Tulsa operation, extending the company's machine-tool sales and support capabilities into Oklahoma.
2020s: Automation, Robotics & Regional Expansion
Hillary Machinery continued expanding beyond traditional machine-tool sales by developing greater capabilities in CNC automation, robotic machine tending, industrial robotics and integrated manufacturing systems.
In 2026, Hillary Machinery expanded its regional coverage further into Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee, building on its established operations in Texas and Oklahoma.
Today, Hillary Machinery supports manufacturers across a seven-state territory with CNC machine tools, automation, applications engineering, technical service and replacement parts.
